OK, probably not the best topic line 
I just wanted to thank all those that took the time to post replies to newbie questions about getting out of the water. I had my stance all wrong. Went out last weekend armed with tips from all of you and got up the first time and every time. It was so easy, I even showed my 11-year-old daughter and her 11-year-old friend how to do it and they got up every time.
The biggest help to me was a couple of posts explaining that it was very similar to sitting on the floor and having someone help you up.
Again - thanks. You guys (and gals) rock!!!

OK - I'm lost in my own innocence I guess. What other meanings are there for the word "Shifter"?
