| a lot of excavation complanies will dig it for you for the gravel/dirt... if you work it right, it doesn't necessarily need to cost a ton. |

| THe removal of the dirt would be a big part of it and Churchy is right. Some companies need dirt. You dont want standing water so it would be better if you have a creek flowing into it or some kind of oxygen in the lake. I think what would be expensive is importing any water. |

pops has 25 acres, and yes i have a friend with a tractor business that is more than willing to dig me a big hole. he gets into sh*t like that. WATER=well. our land is on a big hill side, not like a mountain or anything, but most of the dirt wouldnt have to go any where. just push it to the slope side to make banks........ i would think. a guy a mile down the road dug out an old dried up pond/lake when he bought that land, which was thousands of acres, big money grip!!!! i was thinking of asking him if i could use it for skiing, but i watched the whole dig out proccess, and hedidnt go deep enough. to me it was a waste of good water, but oh well. he could probably give me a good estimate on cost per month for running a well. JUST A DREAM..........but maybe with friends and family, it could be my dream come true. _________________ IN GOD WE TRUST,..........ALL OTHERS MUST PAY CASH!!!!! |

key, if you build it you could make some money off it. like people have to pay to ride on it. like a camp thing, but just pay for butter...like a ramp fee, but more money... _________________ www.Shadrack.com

hah yeah right Tyler~Moore, then he'd have to worry about liability and all that crap for when some idiot bottomed out his boat or hurt himself. If a lake is privately owned like that and you let strangers on it for a fee and something happens, thanks to the good ol' judicial system in the USofA you are the one who is liable. _________________ Alaska: Where the men are men and the women are men. |
