I can't figure out why I can't keep the handle whenever I pull a 3. It looks like I'm not spinning off the top of the wake, and I'm looking up while I'm rotating so can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

wait for the pop off the top of the wake. once you leave the wake pull with both hands to your rear hip. while still pulling with your rear hand, reach around your back and grab the handle with your other hand. come around and look for the boat. the key is to really pull with both hands after you pop off the wake. hope this helps.

| To me it looks like you just need to get a more solid handle pass, you had it, you just didn't have a tight grip on the handle after the pass. Try it a few more times, and you will nail it. I think you did a great job waiting for the pop. The rotation might of been a little faster if you used more of both hands pulling the rope in, other that this, it looked basically perfect. Just need to get the handle and hold on. You will definatly land it in 1 or 2 more trys |

thanks for the encouragement colefooter. That was about my 20th try and usually I either land blind and catch my backside edge or I lose the handle. I do think my handle pass is too slow though. I'll try again on monday! _________________ 1989 Supra Comp TS6M, 06 GLI for haulin'.

| Dude you almost have it, but your problem is your cut is wrong. if you look at the video you lose your edge like 5 feet from the wake, which doesnt get you the pop you need. 3's are not suposed to be fast, so work on that cut, go out about 10 feet, coast then let the boat initiate your edge dont edge to hard right away. that will get you more hieght and make the hand pass easier because you wont have as much speed. hope that helps |
