Just wonderin if I could get some tips on raleys. I tried one but not the kind you plan on landing, or even coming close to. I was just bored I guess. Also since I'm a poorass and can't afford anything useful, how possible are raleys without a non-stretch line? Thanks for any help.
Also the one I tried I got a lot of slack and couldn't pull myself back down so basically what happened is I just let go of the rope which turned it into a halfass s-bend and landed on my face. |

Well one thing you should know it that if you get slack on a raley you're pretty much done for, and in your case it would be harder cuz you have a line that stretches. One tip is when you want to bring yourself back down after you've already layed out is push the handle down to bend your body back into position to land, or else you'll have a nice bellyflop on your hands _________________ "I knew those girls were pros, but don't tell Turtle, it'll break his heart." - Drama, Entourage |

| Awesome thanks...I guess I kind of figured that out on my own, but now that someone told me I might remember this time. Also I've heard lots of tips about trying them but I'm not sure which are true. I heard the other day that you want to leave the wake, then throw it, and not right when you hit the wake. Also keep a little weight on your front foot and don't extend your arms completely straight. Is any of that true or should I just stop listening to people? |

Well you never "throw" it, let the wake kick your feet out.
Practice on a wakeskate, much easier on the body. It is quite different on a wakeboard, but it helps you learn how to let the wake kick your feet back. |
