| ive heard alot of things that say spinning frontside is easier then backside. on my trampoline, spinning backside seems alot easier and more comfortable. my question is, has anyone learned to spin backside before frontside or is it more dangerous or what? thanks for any help |

Trampoline it is probably easier because you just spin that way, and the handle pass is right at the beginning. Off of the wake, you have to shift your spin backside, which makes it harder to spin.
I learned hs fs 3 first, but now that i have learned ts fs 3 its easier
If you can clear the wake easil ts i would go with ts fs 3 |

| alright thanks for the help. for some reason ts fs 3's seem harder then any hs to me. maybe its just the way i see it. maybe i'll try both spins and see which one is easier and which is more comfortable. |

| TS FS 3 is probably harder because you possibily don't get enough ts pop to make the spin easy |

| You do have to be able to get some pop off your toeside but the main reason it's harder is the landing. It's much easier to land hs than ts. Spinning is easier ts though which is why a ts 540 is easier than hs. |

| i agree with wakebrad, thats basically the only reason i would bail on a ts 3, the landing is rough. ts 5 i havent landed but im pretty sure the landing would be easier because your on hs edge right? |

| the only one i can do is the Hs BS 3, the landing is just easier to see and feels the most comfortable, dont ask me why. |

The first one I learned is the ts fs 3, just like everyone is saying. Then I learned a hs bs 3, which I find to be a lot easier than the hs fs 3 because of the handle pass, as well as the spotting your landing. The hs fs 3 has an easier rotation though. To do the hs bs 3, just practice by either doing ollie bs 180s with a handle pass, or doing them out of the wake. Then take it to the wake and do it all the same and you will almost surely do the full 360.
wakeguy2008, I do ts bs 180s. They feel weird and cool at the same time. |
