I rode my absolute today at elsinore and it was amazing. The shift of toeside and backside edges is amazing and super fast. It cuts into the wake unbelievably fast to send you far out into the flats. Sure beats my hyperlite juvi 1998. Very good board, i recommend

I always thought the Absolute was a bit slow into the wake.
...I guess it's a matter of opinion?

Tried it, loved it. Speed into the wake was right about where I wanted it. Tracked well on edge, takeoffs and landings were predictable and comfortable, and the board was nice and loose but solid on edge - just like I like it.
Might pick one up in the offseason...

It is indeed a kick ass board...after all, I own it.
Hello again wakeboardertj,
is it nice, huh, huh, huh, is it, is it, is it!!!!
Since our boards are brothers...how does it handle, anything go wrong
For anyone who is confused, me and tj both bought boards from the same dealer, same price, same place on ebay!
iownu- wrong...$570 is list, all dealers actually sell them for $470. Me and tj got ours on ebay for $375 tax/shipping included. (for the 04 plat. model, BRAND NEW.) Dont try to rip chavez off...03 plat. for $275 USED, your an idiot.
chavez-y-chavez-about a week ago I saw an 04 Plat. BRAND NEW for $300 buy it now...on ebay!

| Water Rat, i wasnt tryin to rip him off. $275 is reasonable. Even if the dealers are sellin it for $470, $275 isnt bad for a 2003 thats in perfect condition.

Water Rat, by the way you said "ya OK" when i said the board retails for $570, and you said you could get one on ebay for $300. I saw that and in the description, it even says it retails for $570!
"THIS IS A NEW 2004 134 ABSOLUTE PLATINUM. THIS IS THE SUPERLIGHT CONSTRUCTION OF ZANE'S NEW PRO MODEL. THIS BOARD HAS MORE POP, SMOOTHER LANDINGS AND BETTER TRACKING THAN ANY BOARD ITS SIZE. THIS BOARD WOULD BE GREAT FOR ANYONE BEGINNER THRU PRO. THIS BOARD IS VERY USER FRIENDLY. THIS BOARD FEATURES A 3 STAGE ROCKER FOR LOTS OF POP. THE BOARD HAS A CENTER BEAM TO GIVE IT SOFT LANDINGS.THIS BOARD WOULD BE GREAT FOR ANYONE WHO IS 135-17O LBS. THIS BOARD RETAILS FOR $570. WE HAVE A BUY IT NOW OF JUST $329. THIS IS A ONE ONLY. iownu like i said 570$ is list. Thats what the company thinks its worth. Every dealership is at 470 about. Also...WE HAVE A BUY IT NOW OF JUST $329, for an 04. u want 275 for and 03, In my opinion an 03 should have more of a discount for being used and being an 03. Atleast more than $55 bucks less than a brand new 04. Just my 2 cents. (All stated in a friendly manner, 1 boarder to another. Your cool. )
waketj-how'd it go, u like it.
itch-D*mn itch, your my f*cking savior!!! I agree 100%, I was wondering that so I put it on a thread and everyone blew me off saying it was personal preference, but I dont know. heres the thread attachment. Tell me what ya think after ya read it...

I just sold a regular core 2004 Absolute 134 WITH Zeus Bindings for $390. They had both been used since March. Personally I think someone got a good deal.
It's nice to see how many people totally love their Absolute's. I agree, I feel the burn in my heart when I picture that sweat little angel.
Holy $@!T my 1,000th post, I am a rock superstar!
