Hey, I invented a trick called the drunk duck, not too hard and a fun way to get back to ur regular stance. It is a wakepipe crail grab half cab. Wake pipe is when u cut in and go up 1 wake and jump, then come down the same wake, crail grab, with a half cab spin. I thought it was pretty nifty Laughing Rolling Eyes What do u think?

i've thought about doing those wake to wake and kind of off axis, kind of like a "crail glide"? haven't yet thought to scared. sounds cool, try it wake to wake.

smlparksguy133, first off its not wake pipe its re-entry. and second its not really a new trick its just a grabbed half cab. and how do you pass the handle that fast or do you do it backwards.

The Headless Chicken, my bad about "wake pipe" but about it being a new trick, so its just a RE ENTRY grapped half cab but a scarecrow for instance is just a frontroll with a 180 and it has its own name. About passing the handle, on a FS 180 you dont have to pass the handle Wink

well a crail is a back hand grab so if you did a backside re-entry youd land wrapped but i was assuming you were doing them frontside. so you have to grab spin pass the handle from you front to back hand. Wink

colefooter, im with you i cant figure out re-entries at all.

smlparksguy133, your move makes no sense. Regardless of half cab or not, a re-entry fs 180 would require a handle pass or wrap. Do I have this right. If I were to do your move (I'm regular), I ride in switch, right foot forward, hit the left wake (when riding facing the boat), grab crail (right hand grabbing ts edge outside my left foot), and do a half cab (clockwise spin)? My back would be to the boat, I would have the left hand on the handle. I would land with the handle behind me (wrapped) or do I pass.

aright, i messed up a little.......WOPS SloB GRAB! Embarassed The way I do it(im regular) im riding switch i come in TS to the right wake, Jump, grab front hand (right hand since im switch) in front of my right foot do the 180 and land edging away on my toes. Sorry about the mix up in grabs, its confusing translating the grabs for switch.

smlparksguy133, grabs don't change when you are switch they are still the same. So if you come in TS switch, what is your rotation? If your right hand grabs in front of your right foot it is a tindy grab.

Why do i think your making this all up? If you can have that much time on a re entry you should try a backroll re entry or something

jryoung, no its slob. If your doing a switch wake jump and grab with your trailing hand(left if your riding switch and youre normally regular) on th toe edge between your legs its indy.

smlparksguy133, thats not even close to crail. Crail is like a step down from nuclear.

colefooter, theres a bit of a difference between a grabbed 180 and a backroll.

The Headless Chicken, yea i know its not close to a crail, different hands, I just get confused with switch grabs. For regular a crail is right hand TS edge in front of left foot, Slob is LEFT hand in front of left foot on TS edge

colefooter, Ill work on getting it clean, when I do ill try to get some video up on here of it. its really not hard, if you can do an ollie 180 you could do one re-entry....just pull it up a little and grab it. You dont need much air time to do a 180, I might try a backroll on re-entry Twisted Evil , if I could do one w2w first. Rolling Eyes

Just think of it as nose and tail when you come off the wake. It doesn't matter where you end up. If you come off the wake with your left foot forward, the left front of your board is going to be the nose.

Wakeboardingmag.com has a great diagram under moves-> beginner-> grab index.

what i thought he was doing was riding switch, wiht the handle in his SWITCH BACK HAND and doing a heelside re-entry ,half cab, and doing a regular crail grab. so like a switch tindy with the opposite hand and a switch 180.
