I finally got out this past week for the first time this season. I was riding on a new board, and behind a supra gravity games (which i'm not used to at all). but the first couple days, i was doing well, for me. doing wake to wake no problem, grabs and 180s, and getting really close on 3s, backrolls, and raleys. but after the first couple days something happened. i'm not sure what it was, but i just lost everything. i couldn't even go wake to wake. whenever i did, i would always get yanked off axis, and have a really really hard time landing, get no air, or face plant like crazy. what the hell am i doing? do i need to re learn everything?

Sometimes when i havent been pulled in awhile I need to warm up a while. I just chill behind the boat cutting back and forth practicing my edgeing but not trying to get any pop off the wake just rideing over it. Rushing right back into what you could do last summer probably isnt a good idea. Hope that helps

wilki911, nah you don't need to relearn everything but just like wang10s said start off slow and just do the basics. When you're starting to suck (we all go through this) start from the beginning. Take a real slow cut and just work on getting pop. Next time cut a little harder and keep doing that until you're back to where you were. Sometimes you loose muscle memory and just need to let your muscles remember how to do everything.

I tried taking it easy, and going slow, but i just seemed to get worse. it was really really weird. it might have been that i was using muscles that hadn't been used in a while, or maybe it was the concussion i got earlier in the week. damn water is hard. but i do'nt really understand why i was pretty good the first couple days, but got progressively worse.
