Hey. I've just recently built a kicker. I have a couple problems though. I haven't been able to land on the water and ride away successfully yet. Whenever I hit the ramp I either lose my balance, or I come off the ramp with my nose down and crash. I can think of two problems. One, the ramp sits on a platform so you actually have to jump a couple inches to get onto the ramp. Is this a huge problem or...? Secondly, the ramp may be a little steep. Are these major problems, or is one more of a problem than the other? I'm really new to kickers so any insight would be appreciated. I've been riding for a few years so I should be able to hit them fine. Anyways, thanks.

Well you can ollie or you can take some weight and put them as close to the first

of the kicker as you can.My wakeskate kicker was like that so I Just took some

styrofoam out from under it. Thats what I would do.Edge into it then flatten out

completely before you hit it,and bend you knees. How long/tall is it?

Yea, I've consider taking some sytrofoam out from the bottom. Adding weight really doesnt solve the problem. It's a pretty buoyant raft. The actually ramp itself probably launches you about 5 feet in the air. It's a pretty small ramp. There is no curve to the ramp either. It is just straight. It's not a very long ramp either. I forget what the measurements are but your only on it for about 1 second before your launched.
