Looking for a good instructional video, I can do the wake to wake thing. Bought a new boat this year, 2001 air nautique 216 with tower and ballast and im having a harder time getting the pop. This wake is way bigger, im cutting through the wake then standing up just like before. Im only getting like 5-6 feet of air.

thanks,

Also whats a good length rope to start with.

Steven

Check out the new waketrix video. It is great. Breaks each trick down so you know exactly what to do.

far as your air goes, it may just be that you don't have your 'timing' down properly. You may be popping too early or too late which is common when switching boats/wakes.

I didn't care for the detention videos. He moves through them too quickly, and without great detail on any trick.

The best video I've seen is an old old old old school set of videos called the Wakeboard Clinic. The gear is hella old, but they do go through the tricks with slow motion footage and from multiple angles. You won't learn anything new off of it, but rolls, spins and raleys are covered. You could probably ebay it for $5.
