| A backflip as in a backroll or tanrum or what? my thoughts are go out and do it on the wake, nothing is quite the same since you dont have a trampoline |

Well if you are going for a tantrum I would suggest rying just backflips off the dock. This gets you able to go straight back. Often times people are afraid and look over one shoulder. This causes you to do a backflip 180 of sorts...this can be bad.. So try going straight over and then go out and give a tantrum a try. It's pretty much the same just with more wake physics and trip crap invovled. _________________ Wakeboard/Waterski/Kneeboard/Ride Random Objects

try a backflip off the dock w/o ure board into the water, wont kill ure neck if u land wrong(depending on how shallow the water is at ure dock) once u got the basic flipping motion down then it should seem a little bit easier but hey what do i really know ive never done any of this before |

um....go find a diving board....oh, and id recommend wearing a helmet cause ive seen some people get pretty close to smashing their head on docks/boats/swim platforms/whatever trying backflips off of them. _________________ "Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them"

I just started tantrums a couple days a go. My sis got me doing a back dive off the dock, which turned into a flip and i took it to the board. I would start by doing a back dive( a half flip dive) I was scared at first but i found looking over my shoulder helped. I did this a couple times then I worked on a straight back dive without looking over my shoulder. Once i was good at that i just went for the flip. When u try it on a board just go for it. Its water. Ive tried about 10 tantrums and havn't been hurt yet.
Good Luck |

If you have a floating dock get a helmet, because when i tried one off of a floating dock before, the dock swung back right under me, ouch |

Yea that sucks, but you don't want to get used to doing them striahg up either because at elast when I try a tantrum I want to go bigger and farther so I go up and out. _________________ Wakeboard/Waterski/Kneeboard/Ride Random Objects
