Another Tantrum ?

I landed my first trantrum this weekend, I was stoked to land my first invert. My problem yesterday was I think I was trying to cut in a little harder and kept landing on top of the other wake, when I landed my first one I was just short of the 2nd wake much easier on the ankles. My rotation is there but I can't get the distance across the wake. How far up the wake do you ride before you turn your board to get the maxium amount of pop?

I find that when i think about riding closer to the top of the wake before i turn the board I get much higher and farther and way more time to think about landing. I would try to wait just a little longer so you're closer to the top of the wake before you turn the board for the trip...hope that helps.

ride the whole way up, then right at the end do the trip, get as much speed as possible and you should be clearing the wake in to time

Just landed my first one on sat. by sun. i was landing them cosistantly in the flats. One of my buddies suggested i wait until i am a the very top of the wake to square up. When I did I started landing in the flats. Also throwing your shoulders up and back helps.
