Last night I fell skateboarding (little too much liquid courage) and hyper extended my wrist. Its pretty sore this morning but only when I bend it back. Im wondering if anyone has gone riding with a similar injury and how much it affected them. I have a week long trip planned for next week and it would suck bad if I couldnt ride.

I did almost the same thing this past weekend. I took a fall this weekend and sprained/hyper extended my wrist.

I took the day I did it off, rode the next day and it seems to be fine. Still a little sore. I suppose it's not the best thing for it, but I didn't let it keep me off the water. Once you're there, nothing will stop ya!

I broke my wrist to the point that my are was at a 140 degree angle. The doctor put me in a cast and about two weeks before I got my cast offI tried to wrap my cast in a trash bag and duct tape so it wouldn't get wet and I could ride but it didn't work and water got in. So for then on I just said screw and rode with my cast.
