ok to start things off, i am a noob, but apparently i am good enough to be on team cwb (hence the name) i have only been wakeboarding for about 2 months, and i can already do off axis 540s. but anyways, on a tantrum, i cant seem to figure out which way to start my inverted rotation. if you flip your board up to your left or right. ps i am goofy footed. right foot forward)

It's a back flip, so up and up. _________________ Wakeboard/Waterski/Kneeboard/Ride Random Objects

You don't want to push your board to the left or right. If you cut in, flatten off at the wake, and let the wake trip you up and into to it, you just have to relax and go straight back. If you turn your board then your gonna create too much tension for yourself.

go wide, cut hard and release at the wake, turn your back at the top of the wake and do a backflip as you would on the ground.

basically you cut out hard, nice slow progressive edge and get some speed up and turn your back to the wake right at the end and flip directly backwards.... also do backflips on a trampoline, helps a lot

How 'bout it? OA 5's before tants?
Anywho, some advice for the tantrum is:
1. cut in hard (both hands)
2. at the bottom of the wake, flatten out, and let go wtih your back hand, square up your shoulders with the wake
3. Switch your edge to the toeside, (trip flip) this is key...
4. Wait for the pop
5. Spot landing
6. Ride away w/knees bent
good luckkkkkkkkkkk _________________ Don't let go of the rope |

YOu need yo take a hard cut into the wake and as soon as you get to the top of the wake through your heels parrallel and do a flip. If you have a trampoline practice them on that. I just perfected the tantrum.
