i think this is more of a mexi than a backroll.. i would like you guys to offer some advice other than the obvious of not rotating fully... is my edge to the wake correct or too sharp? am i starting the flip to soon?(if thats possible) is the rotation too slow? i know the boat speed is slow, how much does this affect it? i dont know if my melon can take a smack going any faster
im going to put 4 or 5 attempts on here.. i really got the piss beat out of me on a couple of these... it just seems like im so close but somthings missing... i am riding of a flats boat (fishing) with a small wake but i dont think thats the problem.. you tell me.
i hope they are aleast funny to watch... the last one put me to sleep for a few seconds and took me out of the water for the day. i still have a little blurred visor and severe sore neck & melon.. enjoy :?
oh... if you can get enough air to throw an invert, do i have enough to try a raley?

Here are my thoughts.
Shorten the rope.
The speed is fine for now.
Don't "throw" the roll too much - you are trying to do the trick before you ride up the wake.
Looks like you're on the right track.
Can't help you on the raley, but I'm thinking of trying next week, and my first attempts will be on the wakeskate. _________________ www.led-concepts.com |

| It looks like you are flattening off too early and are rocking to your back foot to early. Remember to ride up the wake and as you pop you want to rock to your back foot and look up and over your lead should(helps not mexi it) in a smooth motion while remaining on edge. |

| As far as the raley goes, Its gonna be really tough to stick it behind that wake, If you can take a lesson somewhere with a big wake it will save you from alot of pain. People can raley with no wake in the flats, but I would recommend a big wake. generally your gonna want to learn this trick going pretty big. |

I would say have the boat go a little faster. Either that or shorten the rope like 5-8 feet. And yes, make sure you ride all the way up and through the wake before you start the rotation. I would defenitely not try a raley on that wake, you will just end up in pain. It's possible but i wouldn;t learn on that wake. _________________ UCSB Waterski Team |

| That looks just like my fall. It rips my front foot out of the binding every time. Thought I broke a rib last time. I still have not gotten the backroll figured out, but if you really want to do an invert, it may be easier to try a tantrum. The falls are not too painful. |
