How far is the location from say, Cincy Ohio, it takes apporx. 5hrs to get to Detroit.

I'll be there. Riding in the amatuer intermediate division as well. Going to get my a$$ handed to me on a silver platter in the comp. But that's cool with me I guess haha. At least I get to go.

JRock*Girl, you should do fine. If you have solid grabs, 180's you should do pretty good. If you throw a backroll in there you could possibly take it.

all the sliders are about 15ft from the beer garden and spectator area which is hundereds of feet of waterfront, like nothing I have ever seen before. Cant wait, its always a good time

about 1 hour north of toronto.....

man has this event grown in the past five years. I was in Bala last weekend and thought to myself - how in the hell did they host wakestock in this little park...

yeah.. really.. lmao bala... now compared to wasaga.. wasaga is a beach.. party town... bala.. is not a town.. it is rich cottager village.. / wakeboard lakes...

oh yeah! That wasnt part of the course at all, it wasnt the beer tent but one on the reg viewing areas, parks knocked the camera right out of a guys hand and he was BENT! so yeah not normally part of the course, but the pool for the start was right there and of course parks had to slide anything he could see!

last year tricks that were thrown by the guys were like tantrums,backrolls, 3's, like 1 540, front roll, crows, ts backrolls, not sure if there was a raley. that was about the big tricks well for the around 15 year olds.

Oh man I'm in tears. I can't compete this year because i have to work and i think this is the year where i might possibly through down. I've only been out three times and i feel really confident on the board and i will be getting out alot in the next few weeks. I'll be there for the weekend festivaties though. You can't miss it they make the the whole event.

hey dont knock Canadian Bakin! lol That was a really great movie, all Canadian riders and music check out the movie NOTHING, by the same production company...riley lake i believe it was. that was when we were younger up in the muskokas...it would soooo take me back to see that again.

I would say you can't camp out there -

its swarming with cops in wasaga, and there really isn't anywhere to stay with your van - other than at a campsite - which i would get on asap...
