I'm trying the raley as everyone here and I only have a problem when it's time to pull the handle back. look at the picture and you'll see what I mean, look at the rope and tell me what's wrong. ho yeah, I don't turn it on 313 or 911, so I think I'm fine with the weigh on both feet

here's what I do :
wide cut
progressive edge to the top
let the feet go back
and then chooke and flip arround cause the rope is not tigh at all

help me out even if it's the 10 000 post of it

when you put raley on the search field, to many matches

even when you have few flip, girl always ask : can you do THE SUPERMAN ?, I want to say yes, I do ! hahahaha

thanks

You are letting off your edge at the top of the wake and throwing your feet behind you instead of allwoing the edge and "load and release" part of the trick to throw your feet behind you. When you flatten off like you are probably doing you will get some pop but the line will be slack and you won't be able to pull it under you

You need to let the wake snap the board back, you should not have to kick your feet out at all. stay on edge through the wake and this should happen automatically.

The faster the feet go back the faster and easier it will be to bring them back down.

you just have to relax your arms and let the boat pull you forward and swing your legs up.its opposite of a wake jump, wake jump you pull the handle to stay on axis, this you relax and let it take you into the raley.

im sorry to hear about your boat Gaignstar. just let your body float back off the wake and make sure you get your arms extended.

Is it at all possible to learn this trick progressively. Man I just get SLAMMED when I try it. And everyone says that you have to go balls out, hammer into the wake and hope for the best. I mean I've almost knocked myself out several times trying this darn trick and I too want to learn the "superman"!

I like doing big inverts with huge spins and raleys and such on skates...its just something fun to do when messing around. (mainly do so when cannot board)

good for you dude! I balled up and tried the raley on my last day of riding before I came back up to Alaska and I made good progress. I didn't get the board back under me but I did get the feeling of getting the pop and snap back feeling. It is a trick I will DEFINETELY get next year. Good for you dude! The raley has always been one of the coolest tricks in wakeboarding and IMO it is no small feat, either!
