toeside 3 vs heelside 3

which is easier a toeside 360 or a heelside 3... i can get the rotation on both just not the handle pass on either of em...

grokwik, no the ts bs 360 is the most technical out of the 360's because it involves two handle passes and you have no rope to aid in starting the rotation. I can ts fs 540 better than I can hs fs 360. I would go with the ts fs 3 because you can land without actually even passing the handle

Just get good pop, and make sure you are on axis before you pull the handle. place the handle at the small of your back and look at the shore or you will over rotate. you can even land then pass the handle.

TS 360's are easier for me. I pop off the wake so much easier and are much cleaner. But it all depends on the person.

I landed the HS FS 3 before I landed the TS FS 3. But now, I think the TS FS 3 is easier, just so long as you have consistent TS w2w's and 180's.

IMO, the TS BS 3 is by far the hardest of all the 3's.

Easier to get more pop
Easier landing

HS Cons
Harder rotation

TS Pros
Much easier to start the rotation and pass the handle
Pop on TS might not be a big problem for some people

TS Cons
Harder landing
Most likely harder pop

with the ts fs 3 you don't even need to pass the handle. plus you can turn a ts fs 3 to a 5 easy but have fun tryin to turn a ts bs 3 to ts bs 5 Shocked

They might look cooler but are harder to learn, well i guess for most people harder to learn. Theres always people like you that it comes to you naturally. grokwik, do you spin hs bs 3's better than hs fs 3's too?
