| I'm going to be working on 180s this weekend and get them down solid. Now I don't have molded fins, just rails on my board. It's a continuous rocker. The only fins I have are 2" and I am wondering if I should rip them off or if my board will be to washy and I won't learn the good technique? |

| I would keep the fins on for now until you get a smaller size. I ride finless but I have a 2003 byerly with the molded in fins. I find its a bit to grippy with the P wing fins. If you were working on a big spin then I could see why, but for 180's keep the fins on. This is all personal preference, but I like a loose snowboard feel. |

simland, it's just what you want. If you don't like the feel; then don't use them. If you do like the feel; keep em on.
I ride the 04' Premier so I have molded in fins too. I also ride mine finless.
Most of wakeboarding is personal preference |

Most of the WB coaches I have met will tell you to take them off. It will force you to ride the board correctly - on its edges.
As for the 180s - Start with surface 180's first at a slower speed, then try them with an Oillie in the flats, then one wake, etc. - at least that's how they taught it at The WB Camp. Good luck! |

| I ride a HO revelation with molded fins and never put the tip and tail fins on.. even though I pull beginners ( my kids and their friends) I leave them off.. My daughter (15 yrs old) got up first try and rode well.. with the fins off I believe it teaches good balance and good edging..If someone has trouble holding a line and is bobbing and weaving all over the place putting the fins back on will hlep the board track a straighter line |

I left them on, but next tiem I go out I might take them off. I tried to get down riding switch after I got my 180s pretty solid and switch is sick. I find it very hard to edge properly and even at all. _________________ Wakeboard/Waterski/Kneeboard/Ride Random Objects

| I ride with fins, but if you want to know which way you want to ride, then try both, and see which you like better. |

I ride finless on the Substance. It just feels so much better, but it also has molded fins. _________________ www.krookedminds.com
