ok, this weekend im gonna try a toeside frontroll......is a front roll just like doin a flip as u would off of a dock or on a trampoline? you just jump up straight, tuck yourself in, and roll forward? _________________ "Live to wakeboard, wakeboard to live" |

| pretty much, the only difference is you really have to wait for the pop. If you huck it early then your gonna get no air. You can even pop, then go out like your diving, then tuck. you really want to kick your heels back on the landing. You know you have to use the trip flip edge right? |

i dont think its a trip flip? or am i wrong?
Personally i would learn a scarecrow, it is easier and looks cooler than a front in my opnion... but whatever |

| Trip flip is where you cut in and let off your edge and let the wake kick. Its what you use for all tantrum based tricks. For frontroll make sure your really tall at the top of the wake and that gives you pop. |

colefooter, I learned the crow first also, what do I mean first I don't do regular front rolls yet. I should but I'm working on other stuff now. spin to win babby!
FYI- The TS front roll It is a trip flip edge.
The TS front flip isn't and is a lot harder for most people. _________________ PEACE

I started trying toeside frontrolls about 4 weeks ago, now i can land them at least 2 out of every 3 times I try. The thing that helped me the most was cocking you shoulders back right as you approach the wake (like loading a gun) and then really throwing the flip hard. Also, keep the handle as close to your front hip as possible and let go with your back hand about halfway through - if you find you are rotating to scarecrow and falling back on your arss at landing, give the handle a push back toward the wake upon landing, this will straighten you out and help you land out over you toes.
As far as the trip flip thing goes, every video says this is a trip flip, but I think I throw mine better when I edge almost all the way up the wake, probably because it makes you wait longer _________________ Malibu Boats
