Stick a tantrum

Who has some advice:

Trying a tantrum goes well until the pop, I keep looking under my back arm to see if I reach the wake already and offcourse than I'm to late to put my head behind... so I pop... and crash... any advise...?!?!? GRMBL!

instead of looking under your arm...
as you approach the wake, come off edge and as you begin to go up the wake, this is the point where you switch edge and initiate the flip. It sounds like having your head down is screwing up actually getting any rotation or any trip from the wake. good luck

It sounds like you might be just hucking the tantrum. You will know when you hit the wake, you don't really have to watch it. your head does not stop the rotation, if anything it would make you spin. Really wait for the pop, You don't want to go back until the wake has already launched you up and into the back rotation. Also keeping a slight bend in your arm will get the flip around faster and give you more control.

Instead of looking under your arm you should be looking over your lead shoulder. The longer you wait the better your pop and rotation will be,remember let the wake do the work.

i just look straight back like i am doing a backflip on a trampoline...then i get a clear view of the wake...make sure you bend your knees on landing though

During your roatation look at the board or look back to spot your landing but if you look at the boat or ne where else that is not in that up and down angle then it will send you off axis.
