i'm headed to lake powell next month for a long weekend trip. i'm planning on taking lots of pics so I know I'll need to recharge my batteries in my digital camera (regular rechargable AAs), but I won't have a generator around to use so is there a way I can charge the batteries off the boat's battery? _________________ 1989 Supra Comp TS6M, 06 GLI for haulin'.

get a power inverter with plenty of wattage that plugs into your cigarette lighter....400watts should be enough...not enough power, you'll jack up your battery. _________________ my demo reel

Here's your best option...buy this charger...

According to reviews(and my experience) it's the best charger you can get. It's fast and it makes your batteries last longer. For $56, you get the charger, an AC adapter, a cigarette lighter plug, and 4 extra top-quality 2200 mAh NiMH AA batteries. On it's fast setting, it will fully charge your batteries in 100 minutes. _________________ We are wakeboarders and our culture is advanced beyond all that you can possibly comprehend with one hundred percent of your brain. |

Oops...I noticed that it's actually cheaper now on the manufacturer's website ($50 w/ batteries and $40 without):
