I bought the Liquid Force 2004 Ultra XL (shoe size 11) and tried to put them on today in my pool today. I got some "slime" to make it easer to put the boots on after 30 mins of trying I finally got them both on. I kept them on for awhile in hope to stretch them out a bit. They were killing my feet so I was trying to take them off couldnt get them off. Almost came to the point of cutting them off cuase my toes were blue. My question is there any boots that would larger and much easer to put on and take off? I have never wakeboarded befor.
thanks for any help. |

| Before messing with the overlays or underlays. Try filling up your bath tub with warm water, put on the bindings and soak for about 20 min. If they are still too tight, you can loosen up the overlays by taking out the front three skrews on the bottom of each side of the bindings. |

i have a pair of 00 i think ultras before they went to the new foot bed. What i found that works really well to do is stick the blader of any ball deflated in to the binding make sure you get it deep in the binding then inflate it and leave it there over night, then deflate it and take them out. _________________ we pillage we plunder we riffle we loot drink up me hardies yo ho! |

| ultras can be a pain in the ass... especially for someone that has never been on a wakeboard before. The ultra's are made for people who like a really tight hold without the nuisance of all the laces and velcro, etc., etc... They really aren't a good binding for a beginner...Probably because you haven't had the chance to know your preference. If you can still bring them back, you probably should. I suggest a lace-up binding. Try the liquid force exo suction or the evo or the alpha. I'm pretty much only familiar with liquid force products. Lace-ups will be a LOT easier to put on and off and will give you the choice of the tightness. If you have a local board shop, they can probably give you some bindings to try out before you buy them. Bindings are expensive, so make sure your decision is the best one for you in the long run. Welcome to the sport! |

Try lace ups. I can get mine on and off very fast and they hold tight once laced. |

I went with lace ups for the same reason. Easy in and out.
Also, I noticed you said that you used slime to get in... For saving money, go pick up some 99 cent babersol shaving cream from your gas station. That is what we use on out boat and it works great _________________ -----------------------------------

Yeah the ultras are not made for people who don't know how to get in and out of bindings. I wear a size 12 and use XL. I can get them on in the water with no lube in the time it takes the boat to get the rope to me.
Ultras are difficult to get off if they are not attached to the board because there isn't much to get leverage against. |

| if you want a cwb binding the zeus are really good, but that is a top end binding...so maybe a mid range cwb binding like the torq or even the boss they are both lace up. i have the vibes which were rplaced by the zeus. |
