So i used to land this trick everytime, but now i got a new board and i can;t land it anymore. Everytime i go to do the rotation i go forward with my upperbody(towards the boat) and i land on my head. Can anyone help me...

I used to ride a premier finless, and i could only land it when the board was finless, and not with the fin in. Now i ride an absolute, and i don;t ride it finless and i can;'t land it again...I don't understand!!!

Maybe the whole finless thing has something to do with it, but I am not sure. I just make sure that when I cut into the wake it is like the opposite of a raley cut--I give myself just enough speed to land perfectly on the transition of the other wake, so there isnt too much tension that will either pull me over(possibly what happens to you) or make it hard to pass the handle.

Maybe you should ride the Absolute finless? Good Luck

Most likely this has more to do with where your head is looking and your body alignment than what your board is like. Perhaps thinking about the board is causing you to do something different, but the board itself shouldn't cause a change in your body alignment.

When you take off, make sure you lean away from the boat a bit with your shoulders, but keep your head up at the directoin the boat is coming from and the shore you're heading towards. Keeping your eyes up should help you stay on axis.

I have a feeling your spinning off of the wake. Without fins if slides more so it wont catch on the wake. with fins in it would catch on the wake. WAIT for the pop, wait longer than you think you have to...

I agree with Tyler~Moore, if you're spinning off the wake fin differences will change things. If you're spinning in the air like you should the fins won't matter.

Tyler~Moore,
Wakebrad,

YES, spinning off the wake..... pulling yo slef off axis.... I agree...

Do a few big tail grabs to get your flow going. This puts you the board and handle in a great position to start a BS rotation either 180 or 360.
