I was checking out wakeboarding camps on my side of the country. I thought it would be cool to get a group of friends together for a week long stay at a wakeboarding camp. Anyone ever here of West Coast wakeboard camp?
Looks cool, $1000 for 5 days of riding and staying on a fat houseboat at Lake McClure. I am just wondering if it is worth it and if your riding would progress doing something like this. Honestly, I couldn't think of a better vacation.
I guess before I do something like this, I would want to talk to someone who has already tried it. _________________ Our greatest glory consists not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. Always fight. Never quit. Live to ride. |

Your riding will totally progress. Even if you don't progress a ton while your there, you will take all the information home with you and keep on progressing. It all depedns on your learning style.
It is an awsome vacation. There is nothing like being surronded by wakeboarding all week and people that can relate to you. I have been to a camp 3 different times and I am dying to go back, I just love the whole vibe there.
I would also check out the Ensane camp at Shasta, one of my friend swent there and loved it.
Compare a bunch before you book. You can't really go wrong though... _________________ Sliding Glass...It's what we do.

Thanks for the info. I hadn't ever talked to anyone who had been to a wakeboard camp before. I wanted to make sure something like that was worth the $$$!
Sounds like it is. Now I really want to go! _________________ Our greatest glory consists not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. Always fight. Never quit. Live to ride. |

If you look at my past posts, pretty much half of them are referring to wakeboarding camps, in detail and how much they rock. If you can afford it make your way to FL. I am dying to go back. If I could live at the place I would.
Enjoy and let us know where you go...and how it was _________________ Sliding Glass...It's what we do.

| I rode with Schwenne a couple months ago for a photo shoot. First time meeting him and he is an awesome guy. Check out his website at westcoastcamps.com and book a date. Also if you want to see some great pics of him and some of the other instructors for the camp go to westsideconnection.net. |

I checked out the site already. That's what got me all stoked about the camp in the first place. I know I better make a decision fast. It didn't look like they had a whole lot of dates left for this season.
I met Schwenne myself last year at the boat show. He was pretty cool. _________________ Our greatest glory consists not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall. Always fight. Never quit. Live to ride. |
