What do you think of the President of Beers debate? I think that Miller should have never gone there. Not to rip on miller or anything but their advertising can't compete with bud. I love how bud turned the whole thing into a mudslinging match saying that miller isn't even able to run because they are owned by a south african brewery.

I agree, Miller shouldnt have gone there with that advertising campaign. It just makes them look stupid.

I think that Bud's new commericals are great, and really shoot down Miller's "President of Beers" crap.

Well they both taste like crap in my opinion. But Bud is definantly the better of the two. Im spoiled cause I get to drink carlsburg and Turborg every day.

I like the honey beer that Hops restaurants sell (although I rarely get it, there is no Hops restaurant near me), and I like Corona with a lime.
I did vote for Bud. I don't really like Miller at all.

I'm a bud man from way back. I like any beer that is free and cold. I have changed to bud lite a couple of years ago for the wife.
I drank Miller as a kid it was cheap and it can in 40's, anddidn't care much about taste them.

Like Meowsy said, I was at a bar once, the bartender came up to me and made me an offer. He said if I knew the best beer in the world, he would get my next round. So I thought for a minute and started spoutin off all these great beers....well he turns and say's, nope the best beer is a free beer...sorry!
Damn smartass
But to choose from the two options, I will go with Miller Lite. My blood was 60% Bud Light all through college, so now I drink miller. But don't think for a second I wouldnt drink a bud light!!

As a Miller employee at the Miller distribution center here in central wisconsin........
I hate the new Miller campaign, all they do is bash the hell out of Bud. What does the Bud do? They grow real balls and totally ignore it for the most part. Their campaigns are funny and they just don't give into Miller's continuing onslaught of bash ads.
Corona is distribued by miller, along with Heinekin, Beck, and a whole bunch of other assorted imports.

| no- 50.1% of Corona is owned by AB. Heineken has nothing to do with SAB- I think Interbrew is Becks- In some places the Miller wholesaler distributes products from other companies because they cannot make money selling only miller portfolio.

miller may distribute them, but doesn't neccessarily own or make them.

You know theese threads always come up. There are different beers for different times. I'am a coors light drinker because that is what I drink on a daily basis. IMPO that is the best tasting light beer. You cannot drink most of the beers mention on a daily basis. Most of them come stock with like 500-800 calories and you cannot stay fit having a few of them per day. There are "dinner beers" and then there are "every once in" a while beers then there is a "every day" beer. There are better tasting beers than budl ight, coorsl ight..ect but they are not "every day" beers. This is just my 2 cents.

This isn't supposed to be a "best beer" topic. It's about the ad campains of miller and bud.
