i have a freind who has a 2000 tige 21v riders addition and we have noticed that we have to ride about 26 to 28 mph to get the wake to shape up or it just washed and we only have like 6 people in the boat with only have like 1100lbs in balast....does the cut outs in the hull along the sides towards the rear(i know it ran on and on)cause this proplem or what else could it be....also we were thinking about getting into a newer boat any ideas on what we could get for this one in pretty good shape with like 200 hours

I believe what you're talking about are the spray pockets. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do to make 'em go away, unless you go 26-28, like you said above. More weight won't get rid of it.

What you can do is use more weight. This will build the wake and make it harder. The wash will still be there, but it won't be as bad. Check out this video....the first part of the vid, we're riding behind an '00 Tige' 21v, at 24mph, half sacs on each side of motor, sac up front, sac on the floor of interior, and 6 people.

dubbs2525,

Check out www.tigeowners.com ... I remember there being a post about spray pockets and filling them in and all that stuff. Search for "spray pockets" and you should get some answers...
