Great, it will even be in my neck of the woods, thanks! I will definitely have to check it out. None of the girls I know really like to board. It's just me and the guys!

I've been to two GLR events, one snowboarding and one wakeboarding. I recommend it to any girl. The coaching staff was great (Charley Patterson, Kathy Williams and a few others were there) and you don't feel intimidated at all if you're that kind of person who does when riding with others. You do get 1-2 pulls, use of their equipment if you like and a lesson. _________________ This time, like all times, is a very good one if we but know what to do with it. - Ralph Waldo Emerson |

that really frosts my browines.... i Really wish that some of the wakeboarding clinics would be like Nation Wide...I live in ohio and wakeboarding there isnt a big thing. I would Love to go to some of the clinics but i dont want to drive the 17 hours to florida or anything like that. Im not trying to be whiney, but i really wish theyd make some more northern-ish. Just because it isnt 95 everyday doesnt mean u cant be out there riding!!! _________________ (*·.¸(`·.¸ ¸.·´)¸.·*)

Is anyone going to the one in Atlanta? I'm trying to convince my roommate to go but it's looking like I'm going by myself thus far. Also, does anyone know what level they go up to? Thanks!

I will hopefully be at the Sacramento and/or Irvine one. I've never been but last year sounded like a blast. I want to check out one of the girls learn to ride dirtbike clinics, but the closest is in Irvine, 9hrs.
Has anyone been to any of the non-girls specific clinics? I'm going to check out everything that comes near, and with the PWT hiting Reno, it should be prety sweet. _________________ Sliding Glass...It's what we do.

Oooh yeah I went and checked this out a long time ago but didn't sign up and it kinda slipped my mind. Lizrd just signed up for the PM session so I'll see you there. I hope I'm not dead tired for this though...we get back from a week on a houseboat at Dale Hollow 2 days before this. Egh...I'll be alright This will be my first clinic/training of any kind so adrenaline should be enough to keep my going. _________________ Cause we are strictly business and we also got our pride

indywakechica - actually it sounds like a great time to go! You will be in wonderful shape after a week long houseboat trip. I'm not sure how it will work at the clinic but it will be great fun to get to ride with other girls. I'll post again as it gets closer--now we have something to really look forward to!

I took one of the GLR clinics today. It was absolutely amazing. I was learning from cathy willliams and jeff weatherall (i think thats his last name) was driving. It was awesome, i would recomend this to anyone. Jeff got out there and was incredible i was just like whoa. And cathy would have but she hurt her hand and she doesnt wanna bust it open b4 the malibu open. But yea this was an awesome class. Oh and on a side note cathy is absolutely the luckiest woman alive landing herself a guy i think 12 years younger than her and so so so fine. I think i have found my idol. haha ok but yea awesome awesome.

i took the clinic this afternoon and it was awesome! I learned way more than I thought I would. john lindsay and steve hahn were the instructors for my boat and they are great teachers and really cool guys. I'm so excited for everyone else who's gonna take it! the boat they use has such a MASSIVE wake (i dont get that very often)! if for no other reason, you sign up to get a chance to ride behind their tige boat and try out their wakeboards, it's well worth it!
