explain to us what happens when you try to get up, so then it may be easier to analyze the problem and give you a answer.

if you are doing a water start/behind the boat, the advice i had is..... keep knees bent/into the cheast, ask the driver to get the rope tight then ask if you ready, i find that doing this makes the top of the board go forward which is easier to get up. then when your getting up lean back slightly and pull the rope into your waist, this should make the board turn. Confused

Mazzam01 did a good job of explaining it, let the boat pull you up, dont try to stand up right away.

As the boat pulls away look at the tower or pylon. When the rope goes tight then start to stand up.

remember not to try to hard. let the boat do most the work. you dont even have to stand up right away either, you can stay in the kneeling down position forever if you wanted to. so if you want, let the board plane up on top of the water then once your sliding across the water then stand up. also another way that i find easier to get up is push your board under water so your standing on it with your knees bent. then when the boat takes off just stand up and trun your board how you normally ride, the board will rise to the top of the water and then your up. its as simple as that.

Keep curled up untill the boat pulls ya up out of the water, make sure you are all the way out before you try to stand up, also dont try to force the board forward, it will go right up itself

alot may be due to the driver of the boat as well, you cant just gun it, it has to be progressive acceleration

sounds stupid, but dont try too hard, a lot of the times people pull themselves up as the boat takes of and then try and stand up. hold onto the rope tightly, the board should be slightly forard at the top, (hopefully the driver will have the rope tight before he speeds off), the boat will gradually start to take off, dont move just let the boat pull you out of the water, if anything you should lean back and resist it rather than try and pull up, then as you start being pulled up turn to the side so you are not travelling with the board parrallel as this can make you face plant, you should squat slightly as this helps you balance then just go straight, dont try and go over the wake or anything. Let us know how you get on!!

The heels of your feet should be touching your butt when you take off,,, let the rope pull you, don't pull yourself,, let the fins on the board do the "righting"

If you are still having problems you might do a Search on this forum for a Deep water start. I heard about and checked it out, and then tried it my first time out this year it is so easy and I suck. Don't let it get in your head just keep trying, get up a couple of times and you will never have a problem again. Good luck and have a blast.
