If I could get some pictures or diagrams of how to construct like a 3 to 4 foot wood ledge that would be killer

I don't want to hang sh#t on you dude, but if you can't make your own designs for a box, chances are you won't have the construction skills to build it. It doesn't really come more simple than a box, build a cube or rectangle frame, brace it in the middle to stop the ply flexing, screw and glue the ply down. You can add angle iron brackets to the side to grind on if you'd like.

criminally_minded well i didnt know if 2 by 4's standing up would do the trick, i made a low box with 2 by 8's on it side and that works good. i know theres more than 1 way to do it and i wanted the absolute best

I don't really know 2 x 4s but 25mm x 75mm treated pine should be strong enough for most applications, if you brace it properly and screw + glue all joints.
