Wrapped spins are when you use the little T or <|> style handle to spin. You hold the small handle with one hand and hold the big handle with the other hand behind your back. When you get in the air you let go of the small handle and the pull of the boat goes to the big handle causing you to spin.

Osmosis spins are when you pull the handle to your hip then let go of it, spin, and when you come back around to finish your spin you regrab it with the same hand you last held onto it.

Wrapped is when you hold the handle behind your back in order to spin without making a handle pass.

Osmosis is a variation of a handle pass. It is not like a normal handle pass.
You initiate the spin and pull the handle into your back. Instead of passing the handle like you would on a normal spin, you toss the handle into the air. You then finish rotating the spin and catch the handle with the same hand that you tossed it with.

A handle pass is only needed if the line crosses your body while you are spinning. Wrapped spins don't require a handle pass- the line never crosses you, you unwrap in the air and the line pulls you around, you never let go of the big handle. There are a few spins and invert variations that have 360+ spins that aren't handle-passed, they can be rotated above the head like a whirlybird or rotated below the board like an orbital, neither require an actual handle pass but you can still complete a 360 or 540 spin. I think its called an ole' when its rotated above your head?? Same thing as an s-bend, your body rotates while it is layed out so no handle pass is needed.

ya id like to see an orbital. I shoveled the 14 inches of snow off my trampoline today and hooked up the handle and was doing osmosis 5's easily after about 7 or 8 missed handle throws.
