The post I did got screwed up. What I was trying to ask is... is the toes to heels edge of the board the tip to tail, or is it the front and back of the board that is the tip and tail

The tip is the front the tail is the back the "heels" is the HS edge and the "toes" is the TS edge.

That's right Wakebird - except Frontside/Backside are terms related to direction of the rotation of the rider when spinning, not edges.

Nick Broadwell, no its the "grooves" in the board that may or may not run the length of the board. They're closer to each edge of the board.

all boards have rails. rails are the left and right edges of the board.
