does more rocker equate to more pop?

just wondering why on the cwb absolute the rocker has been taken down from last year and what this means. thanks

yes ussualy more rocker gives you more pop and softer landings. my guess is by taking down the rocker they added more speed to the board and made up for the pop somewhere else.

Also if a board has too much rocker it can create excessive drag or cause the fins to cavitate especially in rough water. Maybe CWB was having problems with this.

More rocker doesn't always give you more pop. You want enough rocker to guide you up whatever wake you're riding. If you don't have enough the tip of your board will punch through the top of the wake, if you have too much your board will be slow.

the biggest factor affecting pop when it comes to rocker is not the amount of rocker but more-so the rocker type. 3-stage rocker gives u more straight up pop and continuous rocker is more of an "up and out" flight pattern. amount of rocker does make a small difference but not near as considerable as the type of rocker....

The Motive has 2.7" continous, thats gonna give me a good pop of the wake wont it?
