Anyone ever heard of or used Nice® Pro-Rider series wakeboard boots/bindings?

Saw them for the first time today at the boat show. They look very well made and incorporate some of the Snowboard boot cinch down strap design.

They are top end pricing ~$300.

Opinions, Chime in please.... got a hot deal working on a pair!

I use Nice Scarecrows whicg are one step down from the PRS1. I love them the ratchet srap keeps you locked in tight, sometimes i even have to loosen the strap b/c it's on too tight. if you have a good deal on them i'd get them. They hold up for a long time too.

The PRS1's are super nice, I got to ride em' a few times last season and loved em'

I have no idea on the quailty of them, but I have heard stories of the ratchet system snapping from being misused or too much tension on the ratchet.

From my experience they were awesome, and if you can get a deal on them, go for it!

Ya they are a very top end binding. I got a pair for my brother. Gerry Nunn rides them so I think that they must be pretty good.

The boots look pretty pimp but I would think they would take to long to take on and off. Maybe I'm wrong but it's something to consider.

same here, IMO i'm fine with the cheap stuff, but then again i dont really have the kinda cash to put out for a pair of NICE bindings. But if you like the feel of them and you got the cash for it then id say go for it because i know if i could afford it I'd have a pair

WakeBoarRder180, platinumsubstance, people pay lots of money for bindings because they want to. Not necessarily b/c they have lots of money to throw around, but b/c the support is very important. Bindings are just as important as the board b/c if the bindings are too big or small, you're going to have a bad ride. It will also induce more injuries if you don't have correct fitting bindings. There are a lot of bindings that I can't use b/c I need a lot of upper ankle support. BTW, anyone who pays MSRP for a board and/or bindings is a dumby wumby. There are so many places that will deal and there are so many places to find good deals.

And in relativity, NICE bindings are pretty cheap.-->pricewise I mean.

jeffrey_25 - one of the easiest bindings to get on/off. Just get 'em wet and you slide in no problem. Sweet-ass binding
