from what i remeber durring the summer if u want how to hit it-
u go to the outside of the circle the side with the closest point for the double up then right when u hit the first roller carve as hard as u can in(or sooner) and if u get it right u should hit the 2-3rd peek. i guess the 3rd peek is the best and will boot u the highest. when i was trying them i would hit the thing to late or to early and kinda just roll over it _________________ philocify for life- SAY FUNK IT AND HUCK IT |

okay, lets start with driving the double up cuz this is the most importan part. You turn around accelerating slightly through the turn and then as you meet the rollers at a ninety degree angle(you could do less but you ge tless pop never do more than ninety though.) if the rider wants to hit it heelside (assuming they are regular for goofy do the opposite.) you turn right. turn left for toeside. now riding it. you go to the inside of the turn and dont cut out that far that way you can time it. as the boat crosses the rollers pick the one you want to hit(i reccomend the first wont give you much more pop but easiest for beginners) then start cutting in it will take a couple times to get the timing right but you will eventually figure it out. then cut out farther and farther so you can get more speed into the d-up. |

Man, I can't remember where but there is a great article on d-ups on here somewhere. Anywayz, a good d-up depends completely on the driver. The driver must come through his own wake at a perpendicular angle. The wider the turn the better; it keeps the speed constant. Speed is very important. You don't want to go faster or slower through the d-up b/c it will through you as the rider off and it's harder to hit. I think its a good idea to slow down when you make your cross rollers though b/c they get bigger (at least with my boat).
Anywayz, once you have a good d-up going, start out by riding just outside the wake and hit the second roller (that IS the biggest, unless you're boat is really weighted down, then its the third). The better you get, the farther out you can start your cut. That will get you consistent at d-ups. _________________

thats a good one too, like headless said, you want to start off on the little roller, my coaches a TWC mentioned cutting in on the 3rd baby roller to hit the bigest one... something like that...
its really all timeing and you will eventually get a hang of it, provided you know how to drive em _________________ wakeboards
