|
|
| OK - I'm curious - what am I supposed to wear under a dry suit? Jeans? Sweats? Shorts? I'm riding in the Freeze for Life this weekend - water will be about 34 and so will the air -- any suggestions? I get that dry suits keep you dry but is the suit itself warm? Thanks for any of your ideas. |

You can wear anything you want under them. For being that cold I'd wear sweats and/or long underwear. _________________ Cause we are strictly business and we also got our pride

Garters and stockings along with a bustier!
Actually, a wool poly blend will keep you the warmest. Many also wear their vest under the suit.
Undergarments appropriate for winter weather activities, e.g. snowmobiling, and a top layer of sweats for modesty. _________________ I'm hung like Einstein,

i know i'm not a girl, but i just bought the boost, water temp was 44 and I wore fleece pants, and a t-shirt, long sleeve shirt, and a fleece sweatshirt. The suit will not keep you warm if you don't have anything under it, it's still cold!!!! _________________ Go big or go home!

| First of all it depends on how cold it is where you are riding. Last year when I first got my drysuit, we went boarding in May. It was rather chilly - between 1 and 10 celcius. I wore sweats and a fleece shirt and it was great....except my feet which were exposed. I suggest you wear whatever is comfortable but definitely things that keep you warm and don't stick to you if you get sweaty; otherwise, you will be unzipping that dry suit when you are in the boat. I have ridden in a t-shirt under the drysuit and when it is that cold -- a t-shirt is definitely not enough. |
