Yeah bro, it's one of the two best events in the whole midwest. Product demo's, pro demo's, team competition, d-up competition, TONS of product giveaways/raffles, camping, partying, riding, etc, etc. _________________ www.MidwestMilitia.net |

Is there going to be a girls boat again this year? It's always great to get a bunch of girls together and see them push each other. I can't wait for MWWF this year |

Yeah Orange, Mid West Wake Fest is definitly where you want to be if you are looking to meet more people in the Midwest wakeboarding scene. Last year you could have made over 400 friends!! The site is large enough, that even w/ all those people it doesn't seem to get crowded. Amount of riding depends on you. I know people that only left the water pretty much to eat & sleep. Camping....right on the water. So you can roll out of bed & be riding in under 1 min. Check out the pics on the website from 2002 & 2003's events. Camping is on the pennisula.

Yeah for sure, the area is pretty big, so it doesn't even seem crowded. Like Forrest said, riding depends on you....but most people are willing to give pulls all day long. I remember waking up to ride at like 6:30 or 7, got picked up 20' from my tent and it was on...good times, good times. _________________ www.MidwestMilitia.net |

cheezball189, where do you ride at. The best cove I've found there is Party Cove during the morning a day during the week. But in the afternoon and weekends.......I don't know where else to go _________________

last year it was around $25 for a camp site, which you can split up between a few tents. That's usually about it for required fees. Not sure what will go on this year, but there is a raffle and a bar on the premesis, so you can spend more.
If you have your own boat you should be set, else just bring some cash for gas and you'll get pulls all weekend. |

MWWF '04
July 16th - 18th
4 Star Marina - Ottawa, IL
(Illinois River)
Like it was posted above $25 for camping. Then what ever else you want to be a part of. Last year we had wakeskate clinics w/ Horrell & Hampson, Raffels, Double Up & Team contests, T-Shirts for sale, 4 Star has food & beverages, gas $ (for your boat, or others that may pull you - "respect gets respect"), and other misc items that people were selling. Pretty much that is all I can think of that you may need money for. To the people that may not have been to MWWF in the past, this may seem like a lot, but ask the other participants of the past few years, if they feel they got their moneys worth??? |

| Orange, we could probably hook up and car pool down since I have to drive through Madison to get there. I'll probably have one or two other people with me. I had a blast last year, even though the water conditions weren't the greatest due to the high water, there was still some awesome riding! |

I spent $40 on raffle tickets and won a '03 Parks 138 DNA (Courtesy of Big Mike's Watersports) and a Trick Boardz Wakesurf board. I'd say it was worth it _________________ www.MidwestMilitia.net |

I'm going to have to make a note to myself to save money for the raffle and not spend it all on beer. |

Just letting all the ladies out there know that the "Ladies Only Boat" at Mid West Wake Fest is in high gear! I have been working on a few surprises and I am stoked if everything works out. We are still planning on going out Sunday (that means no leaving early, NO EXCUSES). I will still have some kick a$$ swag to pass out to all who participate. Spots are limited, so all you ladies out there that are interested in getting together without the boys give me a holler by email and we will make sure you have a spot for the fun!!
