" Lock in fast and ride long! The Spin Boot, which offers one of the easiest entry systems around, combines a soft, conforming neoprene toe for unmatched comfort and almost zero foot fatigue with a stiffer EVA heel for the support to match. Considered to be one of the most universal bindings on the market (as it fits a broad range of foot sizes), the Spin Boot also features a custom orthotic footbed and the Claw mounting system."
Buywake.com price $149.99

going from a 30/60 to a Spin is taking a few steps backwards IMO....have you looked into the Split? It's a bit closer to the 30/60...But like the Spin, if that makes any sense? |

spins are the low end binding that hyperlite offers. I have ridden my brother's and I will say I don't much like them. They have this really unsecure toe velcro strap that provides almost no security and they aren't very comfortable. They are good beginning bindings I suppose. _________________ Alaska: Where the men are men and the women are men. |

listen2cky, are you sure you are'nt thinking of the Split? The Spins don't have a toe strap. |

See if you can get new overlays for your 3060s from Hyperlite... Don't downgrade... |

I agree with Maestro... I wouldn't recommend the spin's. I've ridden my buddies board with Spin's and I didn't like them at all. My foot just doesn't feel solid in them. If you are on a budget they will work but you'd be better off getting the bro deal on a new overlay.
To bad this is my 70th post... |

Maestro, the overlays are on back order and have been for like 6 months or somethin like that.....it's gettin on my nerves but i might look into other bindings, like the personality line hyperlite has.... |

Hey Wake4Life08,
I think K-dub hit it, you'd be taking a step back....are the 30/60's "rebuildable" or maybe some used Belmonts, I see them around for $100 ±

Yeah Wake4Life08 - you could see if Hyperlite would send you some Belmont Overlays or byerly overlays - the older ones. If you can get your hands on those you'll essentially have a better binidng than the 3060 without having to invest a lot of money. |

Wake4Life08, I have some on my old board and they ride good. They are comfortable and keep you locked in well. I wouldn't really want to invert with them but for your run of the mill 360's and other right-side-up tricks they will do fine.
They are also extremely versatile in that multiple riders can use the same setup without problems. _________________

I know his problem is solved and all but i have spins and they work good, but those r the only bindings i have used exept for these other ones but they really sucked. And it is true that they work good for multiple riders _________________

The 02 spins have a toe strap. It's useless, except for being a good place to tuck the laces so they are not flopping around. They are comfortable, but not good fitting, because they are a universal binding meant to fit many sizes w/out adjustment. I have a pair I started with. They are now used for people who come along to try wakeboarding. I'd stick w/the 30/60. After using those, the spins would be a disappointment. _________________

Wake4Life08, what the heck causes the overlays to rip? I had 30/60's and the next time I went to get in the water they were torn. I'm a brutaly bad rider so it's not like I'm hitting the water hard or taking nasty spills. |

jeffrey_25, the dude that owns the lake i ski at had some friends of him stop down on their way to TN from michigan and i let their 14 year old son use my board and i think they ripped when his fat foot entered luckily hyperlite sends you overlays for free if they rip
jeffrey_25, maybe you need a size bigger bindings? where did they rip? mine ripped right on the inside blank part in the middle on the front |
