new wakeskate

hey guys im a solid wakeboarder ive been doing it for a while, and im want to start wakeskating and i was wondering if you guys could give me some input on what skate to buy and shoes and stuff. i would like to have a hyperlite i just dont know what size of board i need and which one. thanks for the help

Get a Integrity wakeskate and any pair of old skate shoes will do.

well the size board you buy depends on how big you are. For shoes check out reef byerlys, the kampus shoes, 313 blings, or just wehre a pair of old skate shoes.

ya im curios too. why hyperlite? i ride a hyperlite skate so dont think im ripping on you or anything im just wondering why you prefer this brand.

thats what i ride too only i got the wood one. i wanna build my own tho but itll probably suck as far as riding goes.

i just really like hyperlite. all of my board have been hyperlite and most all of the other brands i ride sucks. but i dont know maybe thats different with a skate. i saw the byerlys and those loked nice and i need to know what size board now. im about 5'5" 135 not to big. but whatever board is good

and i got thoose jet pilot wakeskate shoes for x mas and i waer them out and stuff... they look kinda cool Cool

I really like my cassette, I just got a Kampus and that grip tape / foam combo stuff is awesome (not quite sure about the skate though)

if your hearts set on hyperlite go with a byerly and if you are low on cash get a scape 107.

orange Crush, im about ur weight but about a foot taller. I ride a LF 43 which is around the size of the byerly. if u want a HYPE get the byerly. the gate looks cool too so I dont know wat your looking at.

ORANGE CRUSH, the reason they asked why a hyperlite, is they just wanted to understand, why arent you looking at other skates. I mean, Hyperlite makes great skates, but there are also other skates out there to consider. Casette makes awesome skates, and i'm sure Integrity will have some sweet stuff (if they can get their act together Rolling Eyes

). Dont just buy a hyperlite for the name.

Im not buyin one for the name and I know did kinda tear into everyone in that last post. I was just looking at hypelite and wanted to see what everyone thought of them. But no worries now ive got one. A couple of my friends made some out of the same wood and stuff. He said is just like the byerly. thanks guys
