|

Ok i can ollie pretty high standing still but when i try to apply it while moving, i just couldnt get it, the highest i could ollie were a few curbs and even then sometimes the board was just bouncing up on the back trucks.. this is what made me give up on skateboarding and take up aggressive blading, any tips or is it just the same old practice practice practice? _________________ Hitting the backrolls this year.. |

I think you said it best - "practice practice practice"... Skateboarding's extremely frustrating to learn, but when you do it's so gratifying... |

I agree, it's all about practice. With rolling ollies you just gotta remember to really bring up your back leg, that's usually the reason for low ollies. |

If you want to get your ollies higher, stack up some bricks and put a thin stick in between the two piles. This is what I do so if you stuff up you don't get hurt. |

thanks guys i landed my first moving ollie today, im really glad i picked up the skateboard again. PS I just bought a regular plain old blank deck off ebay, does it really matter for the stuff im doing that the board is cheap? _________________ Hitting the backrolls this year.. |

Blank decks will work fine for you. I ride them - it's a lot more cost effective and then you don't have to worry about screwing up the graphics on the bottom of the board |
