Does anyone have tips on 180s, and maybe foot position. No matter how hard I try I can seem to get the board to follow my feet around. I know that I have more than enough height to do it, just can't get the rotation and I know i'm doing something wrong when I try to spin it.
Lead with your shoulders. One thing that helped me to get good rotation is to imagine how I would jump 180 if I didn't have the board on my feet. Thinking of it that way got me to really lift my knees & pivot with my shoulders to let my legs follow. Keep practicin'!

For foot position try putting your front foot on or just before your hardware. ANd like jester said lead with your shoulders. I made a mistake of trying to do the biggest ollie i could muster then doing the 180. Or the other alternative is doing half cabs, some people (me included) find these easier then normal ones. _________________
