I've been skating about 8 years. Probably my best & favorite trick is the 360 spin 50/50 (freestyle, not the grind). If I could darkslide I would, but I can't get the half flip down right.

Been skating for 17 years I can't beleive it's been that long. My fav is just hittin nice floaty ollies over hips, tranny's, corner's with a grab thrown in. I don't like flip tricks anymore, except the occasional kickflip. Bluntslides and smith's are pretty fun too

9 years, and I still love a good powerslide or nosepick!

Railstand to railmanual to shuvit-flip out is fun. Primo slides I can do on marble surfaces, but they can be unforgiving.

You people make me sound like my time of skating is minute. I been doing it for 1 year, my fav trick is probably a dark stall (wanna take it to dark disaster). I like my primo 180 flip out. But i still like to do a 360 pop shuvits here and there. And one day when me and my mates were pissed we were trying hand stand shuv its ( i know we will never land them), any way when we were sober i tryed 1 i didnt land them but i could get the shuv it part and land my hands back on the board just cant get my feet down. It would b kool if i could get them though.

sk8on, sounds like you don't need tips, with that level of progression!

I got my first board when I was 5, a hand me down from my big brother. I never really rode it much, I would just take it to get down to the beach to go surfing with my dad. Once I started getting better at surfing I started getting into skateboarding. I think I was about 10-ish. I begged my parents to buy me my own board, they did and I've never been without a board since. So all in all I've been skating for close to eleven years.
I mainly skate pools and vert ramps, on those my favorite trick is a nice smooth smith grind or bs air. Back in the day everyone used to call me geisha because I had this obssession with Japan Airs. Still every now and again I'll bust one out, especially on a wakeskate. The rare days that I decide to skate street I like rails and Hubba ledges, I'd have to say a nice fs boardslide is my favorite street trick.

VIP, a salad grind is a 5-0 tweaked a little crooked in the bluntslide direction.

Geisha, you can Japan a wakeskate?!?! Good grief sista, how much air do you hafta get to bust one of those? I can get the mute grab, but no way I could tweak it into a Japan Air.

I was gonna say, that's sweet!

I'd like to see some huge Melan grabs on a wakeskate. Tweaked out kung fu style like that one in the current Big Brother mag.

Thanks, I don't think I have progressed that much but I do need some tips on how I can keep the board from always landing far out in front of me while trying 360 flips.

Jester,
It took me two summers to be able to land the Japan Air on my wakeskate, I still can only do it off a double up. My goal was to be able to take them wake to wake this year but yesterday I broke my heel on a bs boardslide gone wild. What a drag! I hate this. I've only been on the DL for 24 hours and I'm already getting cabin fever Shocked Mad Crying or Very sad !

That's why I don't do all the hesh street these days. I do crappy beginner street like flat rails or 3-stair gaps. Mr. Green

I know how it feels to not be able to skate (or even walk right) 'cuz of injuries, get better soon, sista.

Little over 1 year. Best trick is probably boardslides down handrails or back 5-0's on stuff (other than handrails). Favorite tricks are kickflips, 360 flips, nollie 360's (Don't know technical name for them if there is one), and front boards.

Nollie 3's are known amongst the flatland community (or even older skaters) as helipops.
