I cant get my 7's consistent. The ones i do land i always butt check and then ones i miss i always fall back. I cant figure out how to get my weight forward. Do you take a different take off than for a off 5

i take the same cut into the wake for o/a 7 as o/a 5 (i assume you are talking about a ts 7) except i try to give a little bit harder tug off the wake to get the handle passes quicker. do you land wrapped or do you make a second pass behind your back? which do you think is easier?

if you're falling on your butt try and trip it more... that would make sense. i can spin it, but like 8 million other people just miss the last handle pass

Have you tried it off the d-up?

If you haven't, I suggest that. I learned TS 7's off the d-up, you have a lot more time for the infamous second handle pass. Once you get them solid on the d-up, take it W2W. I don't have them consistent W2W, but I'm almost ready to go for the 9 off the double up.

I just use the same cut as a 5 or 3 and really initiate the spin harder by pulling the handle harder and turning my head to spin quicker. On 3's and 5's you really don't need to turn your head as hard (or at all for that matter). But, I have found on 7's it really helps to get that last 180 pulled off. Hope this helps.

Later...
