What level of demand would it be for an amateur video w/ amateur riders? I don’t mean kick ass unknown riders. I mean, regular Joes (no pun) that can’t do 10 mobes, 10 raley based tricks and switch 900s. I mean riders like you and me.
Would there be a demand for that? Would you buy it? I don’t plan on putting one together (not yet anyway ), but I think that sort of video would be interesting to watch. _________________ my demo reel

jumalian, depends on a lot of things... Obviously you don't want to watch people do 50 180's and a few backrolls, but crashes are always great. I think the key to videos is BE ORIGINAL, do something new.
I find bio sections, or 'follow a rider around for a day' maybe filming a section of a pro tourney 'from a rider and fan perspective' stuff like that makes videos more interesting.
It gets boring watching 45 mins of straight tricks and stuff, so I guess it depends on a lot of things... I don't think a video necessarily has to have pro riders to make it interesting. |

| It would have to be more of a 'lifestyle' vid since the caliber of riding wouldn't be the focal point. I dont see much demand for a video with the lifestyle/riding of unknown riders unless they have tremendously sick and inspirational style (or unless you include tons of bikini shots). Something would have to be a worthy selling point for the video as a whole, thats all I'm getting at. The Bio idea is a good one, lots of riders are interested in the lifestyles and inside scene of the Pros. But thats why there is Wake TV. Well there used to be, wheres Jocko?? |

I think it would be cool. To sell though, I think it would have to be pretty cheap. Also, yeah some lifestyle stuff, boat type and ballast setup, etc. would be nice. _________________ Join the Surfrider Foundation at www.surfrider.org |

I just thought of a video I would buy... K-dub and Grouch's wakeboarding adventure... here's the concept... they take a trip to ATX, ride for a bit, hit the bars... get bitch slapped, threatened, run through the streets like maniacs... pass out, ride some more... go home and drink.
It could be "Reality Wakeboarding" cameras just follow this crew around the US. |

| ontrider, I actually have a couple of 4-5 second vid clips of Grouch and K-Dub from yesterday (took them on my dig camera). Forgot the camera at home, but will try and remember tomorrow. |

it would probably have to have some sick editing and good sound track. the main thing would having a variety in the riding. Top videos have pros who have different styles and tricks which mix up the riding. The thing with amatuers is they are doing alot of the same tricks. _________________ pointless crew is so insane. |

It takes a lot of filming and different kinds of filming from all kinds of angles. Its a lot of work to put together a good video. But it would definately be cool to see people ride at different levels. I dont think the quality of the video would be good enough to be worth producing at large for people to buy. _________________ my 2nd season of riding ==> http://www.wakepics.com/view_single.php?medid=9474 |
