| keep on your edge all the way up the wake and it will buck u up, and while you are going up the wake, straighten your legs a lil and start rotating backwards right when you leave the wake, not before. good luck |

dude, I landed this 3rd attempt yesterday! the hardest part is not slipping out on the landing. you just gotta really land over your toes _________________ The consciousness of self is the greatest hindrance to the proper execution of all physical action.

Good advice so far. To make sure I don't throw mine early, I think of doing a straight ts air while I'm edging through the wake. Once I know I'm in the air, then I look back, after grabbing the board of course. |

My problem is I usually overrotate and slip out. Anyone have any advice on what they do to get weight over toes? Every once in a while I think I someone manage to delay my rotation and I pull one out.
In response to the original question about height, get pop FIRST then roll backwards. Gets mine up pretty good. |

on ts backrolls, i really think about standing tall at the bottom of the wake. when i do my ts backroll, i use a progressive edge all the way into the wake. at the bottom of the wake, i stand tall and i push the board up and over my head as soon as i leave the wake.
from preventing overrotatting, try and let go with your back hand as soon as you spot the water. with one hand, you can slow down or speed up your rotation. letting your arm out will slow down your rotation and bringing your arm in will speed up your rotation.
hope this helps _________________ don't think about it, just do it |

| On TS rolls, like everyone's been saying, you definately have to wait for the pop to throw it. I like to rotate fast in the air, and then when I see the water open up to stall out the rotation. Feels sweet coming down. |

Also look at shore when landing not down at water to avoid landing flat on board and slipping out. If look to shore, body will go to shore on edge and ride away. this works with every trick. Easier said then done of course. _________________ Check out https://www.facebook.com/darcizzleoffshore |

I landed the first one i ever tried and all i did was huck it off the top of the wake like it was a ts tantrum. After a while, you get used to popping up more vertical and pulling your knees in, try grabbing indy or crail. _________________ my 2nd season of riding ==> http://www.wakepics.com/view_single.php?medid=9474 |

pull your knees in more towards your chest, this takes a little effort to get the board in close. just try grabbing indy or crail. And try to look at the board while reaching for the grab. you will get it after a few tries, the first few attempts you might just swat at it or tap it. _________________ my 2nd season of riding ==> http://www.wakepics.com/view_single.php?medid=9474 |

so do I grab, then initiate the rotation, or what? _________________ The consciousness of self is the greatest hindrance to the proper execution of all physical action.

| if you are not getting the pop it is your not riding up the wake. or you could be starting too wide which also throws your timing off and you lose your PROGRESIVE edge which gives you the pop. remember when coming to the wake keep your hips up keeping the line tension. forget the grabs or hucking... work on the approach and the pop first. |

| yeah i agree with kuehn on this one, ride up the wake and make sure you get some pop so u will be able to spin it and land it. if you throw it without going all the way up the wake......you will take a backwards dive into the water |
