Hey Everyone-
I just have a quick question. We are taking off the old graphics on our American Skier and putting on some new ones and I was wondering if there was an easy way to take the graphics off? I have been using a hair dryer and heating them up and then peeling them off, but they still come off in really small pieces. Are there any easier ways to get them off? Thanks!

My boat had dumb stripes and "Super Skier 299" in big letters down the sides, they went the first day I had the boat. Needless to say it was a b*tch getting them off. I used a citrus based solvent (goo gone I thinK) and a razor blade. Took me a few hours and killed my back. Some of the larger stripes peeled off effortlessly, but the small stripes and letters sucked. After all the graphics were off I had to get some rubbing compound and go to town w/that. I'm thinking of peeling off the Dixie name, but I'm not sure.

I think the older the vinyl the more brittle it gets. Didn't use heat, maybe I should have.
