I can't help you out a lot, but I will point out the obvious for you in case your daydreaming when you go to buy your new board and forget. Don't buy a crappy board that loses it's shape. If you want good concave then buy a good strong board that doesn't lose it's shape over a month. ATM's I find are really bad for that. |

HEy umm good decks that i have used are alien workshop and element and its concave that gives them pop aso ypou can look at where the tai;l and nose and and there is a bend. Sometimes a bigger bend the more pop and u want that to ollie higher. |

you're in luck. 7 and 3/4 is like probably the most popular size of deck being pressed right now.
As for what you mean by symmetrical. I'm not quite clear on that. Boards are not made symmetrically, at least not the good ones. You will want your nose to be a little bit different in terms of size and even sometimes concave than your tail because its harder to nollie than it is to ollie. If you look really hard at a deck you'll see the difference.
Asymetrical decks, like they used in the 70's and 80's ( i know some hardcore pool skaters that still skate them today!) are pretty antiquated and are hard to skate. I wouldn't spend the money on one & if someone tries to sell you one at a shop they're not worth buying. |
