Also.... nautiques are good boats, but now I can never buy one. I am almost done with college, and I am going to buy a boat as soon as I am done. Last year when I went to the demo days at my local correct craft dealer they took one look at me, and tried to bone me for $20 to ride behind their boat. The funny part is, they weren't charging all of the older customers to ride behind the boat. At this point I made my mind up that those boners were not going to get my money. Looks like I will be riding in a new X-2 or X-star, because when I went down to the Mastershaft dealer they were really nice, and let me ride behind their boat without trying to bone me for $20. Screw CC, snobby pricks.

Yeah.... the X-2 is the same hull as the 02' X-star. I would love to get my hands on a 03' X-star, from what I hear it is going to be out of this world. I think the price will be significantly higher then the X-2 though. Has anyone ridden behind the Nautique 226 yet?

Nautiques are soooo good they were not even represented at the boat show in Denver. At the end of the season the dealer was slashing prices to get rid of them and still got stuck with a large inventory. Now they are in trouble and are probably not going to be around.

Anyways the x2 is the old xstar same hull everything but just new name.

Nautiques are great boats, but the BEST boat out there is......

The boat that your rope is hooked to while your having a great sunny day at the lake with family and friends. Hands down, no questions asked.

I feel lucky to have a boat, let alone a tower & some fat sacs.

Keeping it real. -Jed

Which Nautique sales guy did you talk to at the MN boat show? Was it Son Watersports?

dragon- dont change the graphics on your boat. for one i like the current ones better for two you would have ot explain to all your friends what you did and why and then explain to them that its the same boat design as the air and everything. just a big pain in the @ss if you ask me.

Yea, there seem to be allot of Prick's in the dealerships of Nautique these days. But it's not really their fault, beacuse thay dont own the dealerships. There are allways good dealerships and bad ones, I know that we got an A-hole beacuse he wouldn't tell us how much the boat cost. Kind of like "if you need to ask how mutch it is then you obviosly cant afford one". congradutlations Bruce at the Nautique dealership in Oregon, you just lost a 40,000 sale!! I know of othor people haveing this problem. If you live in Oregon Definantly don't give this dealearship any bisunus(sp) go to Pacific Nautiques, definatly worth the extra 2 hrs of driveing.

who wants to drive 2 hours for service or warrantee work though. I don't own a CC but the local dealer has been very helpful when I have had problems to troubleshoot with my boat.

Our local MC, Calabria, (former Malibu) behaves the way you're all describing your CC dealer. These guys just lost Malibu to a brand new dealership in the area, which proves that the boat manufacturer DOES have the ability to improve the quality of it's dealers. I haven't been back to the snotty dealer, but I'm willing to bet that thery're a little nicer now.

I have nothing but good things to say about Son Watersports in MN. Mark Mulrooney is the owner and he has always bent over backwards to help me. He definitely didn't give off the stuck up vibe that I have gotten at other boat dealerships.

Buxton marine in dallas is a very good dealer. They're actually a nautique dealer but they helped us find a boat. We ended up getting a tige but buxton was still a lot of help. Another great dealer is Texas Mastercraft. I would recomend either of these to people in tx.

It seems like Nautique dealers think that they are best because the boats they sell are the most expensive ones. It´s that typical attitude; That guy cant afford this boats so I treat him like stuff.

CC's are awsome boats... My Centurion ran me about 32 plus some other things we threw into it, and I am VERY happy with my boat. The main reason my parents bought the boat was so I could wakeboard, so I consider myself to be very lucky (only being 17). Hopefully someday when I'm older I can buy myself a SANTE Smile (or whatever is equivilent to the top-end boarding boat).

Any boat is better than no boat Smile Right?

We just get our boat serviced at the Local boat mechanic. I reccomend that every one in Eugene should check out Vally Boat Works. Dale is a really nice guy who's work is really qualiy.

Last time I checked nautiques were not the most expensive boats. MC's were just as much. Anyone else see it my way? Confused

Usually a loaded san te will run you more than a loaded x-star. Not sure now though since x-star is coming out with the style. Nautiques deffinately have a higher resale than mc's in the oder boats though.

I love my Nautique and my Dealer. They rock! North Point Water Sports.... Cornelius NC...... I live an hour and 15 minutes from them and they come to our lake and service my boat or pick it up for me and take it back to the dealer. At no extra cost! of course I have to pay for the service but not for them coming to get it. Nautiques are quality boats. I have been around boats all of my life and have personally owned 3 Correct Crafts. I have had nothing but excellent experiences and super reliability from all 3. The construction is top quality as is the finish...... If you know what to look for in boat construction and finish you can tell that the Nautiques are superior to their competition..... you get what you pay for. IMO the only other boat that is comperable is the X-Star.

Nautique this and Nautique that Neutral
Doesn't anyone see that MC is kicking Nautiques ass strickly in terms
of sales. You can argue day and night about which makes a better boat
BOTTOM LINE
The people at correct craft are just way to arogant.
my 2 cents

if nautiques are so great then why are their graphics just stickers.......why not quality paint. Don't get me wrong i love the looks of the nauties and I would love to have one, but they should do something about their sticker graphics. everything else is painted why not the graphics.
