I just began wakeboarding this summer. I am trying to learn how to jump the wake. Some people tell me to keep my legs stiff when I hit the wake and others say bend knees and pop off the wake. Every time I try I crash and burn. Remember I am a rookie!!! But I tried it and fell in love with it. Thanks

one thing that helps is to just go out in the flats and practicing takin lil jumps out there. that will teach u how to loosen up and absorb the landin plus help get ur pop and balance better. but read the other stuff that has already been discussed

Keep your legs stiff when you actually hit the wake. So just when you edge in, have them a little bent, then push out when going up the wake. This builds the tension and you should pop nice.

Also, edge out REALLY far. Once you get over the wake the first time, then you work on height.
