Yeah, Dallas is pretty short. I saw her at one of the tour stops and she walked right by me and she was short, probably about 5ft4in, somewhere around there. But some people just like the way bigger boards ride and others like small boards. |

I think that would be awesome that she makes a board. It might encourage girls to try the sport. I know I saw the first competition of the year on TV last night at like 1:30 a.m. and it was awesome. I haven't seen many competitions aired on TV, so it was a treat for me to stay up and watch. Boy, she was pulling some really nice moves and she won! She's so cool! She's a good role model! _________________ ...Wahoo!

yeah she is a great role model
but the problem is not many girls know about the sport so its difficult for them to start even if they knew who Dallas Friday was _________________ R.I.P Mark Kenney |

She takes her tricks huge.....and has a back injury......I would be on the 137 too if I were landing 15ft out in the flats.. .....I think most of the pro women ride at least a 133 to 137.....137 really isn't very big...... |

yeah, i don't thing 137 is big. I'm the same size as dallas (if she really is 5'4" 105lbs) and my board is 135, that's only a difference of 2. And I used to ride a 151! _________________ ...say goodbye |

I'm 5'3'' and @ 105lbs. I ride a 135. I was thinking about going bigger! Can't wait to see what Dallas creates. _________________ It's not the motion of the ocean, but the size of his wake that matters. |

From what I've heard, Dallas was strongly influenced by Shapiro because they trained together and stuff. That could be part of the reason she likes a longer board. Shapiro rides a board that is really long for his size considering how short he is. It seems to work just fine for both of them. _________________ How do you apologize to a friend for something like that? Flowers would not be enough. |
